Meet Amber
I’m Amber, a Vancouver-based wedding photographer with over 18 years of experience documenting weddings across the Lower Mainland and beyond.
My approach is calm, supportive, and grounded. I focus on creating space for real moments to unfold naturally, guiding you when needed and stepping back when it matters most.
I believe the best photographs come from feeling comfortable and present, which is why I prioritize connection, thoughtful pacing, and a relaxed experience throughout the day.

Most couples choose between 7 and 9 hours of coverage to allow for a relaxed timeline and full storytelling from start to finish.

A few common questions:
A. With 18 years of experience, I know how to guide you into natural, relaxed moments that feel like you. I work calmly and intuitively, focusing on real connection and honest emotion rather than stiff posing.
Q. We don’t need an engagement session. Can we take that out of the package?
A. The complimentary engagement session is my gift to you, and the decision to use it is completely yours! I include it because it helps us get to know each other with a camera in the mix. In my experience, this makes for much more relaxed wedding photos on the big day!
Q. Can we add or remove hours from your set packages?
A. I’m super flexible with my packages! Let me know what you need and I’ll put together a custom quote just for you.
Q. Do we have to order albums now or can we order them later?
A. You can decide later. Album pricing is guaranteed for up to one year after you sign, so there’s no pressure to choose right away.
Q. We have a break between our ceremony and reception. Can we split our hours?
A. Wedding coverage is counted consecutively from the time I start. If you need additional coverage later in the day, extra hours can always be added.
Q. What if our reception runs late? Can you stay until the end to capture our exit?
A. Absolutely. If coverage extends more than 30 minutes beyond the scheduled end time, additional coverage is billed hourly. This is always discussed in advance so there are no surprises.
Q. How many photographers will be at our wedding?
A. I’m your lead photographer for every wedding. A second photographer may be included depending on the collection you choose or added if it makes sense for your day.
Q. Do you have a preferred vendor list?
A. Yes! I’ve worked with some of the best wedding pros in the industry – planners, florists, caterers, DJs, videographers, you name it. Let me know if you’d like recommendations!
Q. What kind of gear do you use?
A. I shoot with top-of-the-line Canon gear and have a collection of lenses for every situation. Plus, I always carry backup equipment to ensure everything runs smoothly.
Q. How do we book you for our wedding?
A. To officially lock in your date, I require a signed contract and a 50% non-refundable retainer. Once those are in place, you’re officially booked – yay!
