From the moment Abha and Michael’s email landed in my inbox I couldn’t have been more excited about their civil ceremony at Bloedel Conservatory in Vancouver. Having grown up nearby I’ve been visiting the Conservatory since before I could walk… some of my earliest memories involve walking the pathways there with my parents on either side of me… taking in the birds and the koi with wonder. It’s such a magical location and one that lends itself beautifully to an intimate civil ceremony or elopement.
After an emotional and tearful ceremony we took time to capture portraits inside the conservatory before heading out to take in some of Queen Elizabeth Park’s beauty. It was still spring and the flowers were out in full force. Spring is easily one of my favorite times of year, tying with Fall for the top spot in my heart!
