The morning of Melanie and Adam’s Glass House Estate Winery wedding brought grey skies and epic rain. When I arrived to Melanie’s parents home in Langley it was absolutely dumping but instead of worrying about it Melanie was all smiles. She was so excited to be marrying Adam that nothing could dampen her spirits, not even a literal dampening of everything. In their time together they’ve come through some incredible trials with a love and connection you can feel. The excitement was infectious and I couldn’t wait to see these two married.
Amazingly during our portrait session the clouds cleared and we were treated to sunshine and blue skies in time for their outdoor ceremony to go ahead as planned. I love it when wedding day miracles happen and this one had impeccable timing!
From their mutual laughter during the portraits, to Melanie’s tears during the ceremony and Adam’s loving dance with his grandmother I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day to capture.
