Ebony and Tor’s intimate Vancouver micro wedding set against an early morning Jericho Beach backdrop was everything. After meeting them earlier in the year at Parallel 49 and connecting over earl grey doughnuts and a mutual love of Dr. Who, I knew I was in for a beauty of a day celebrating these two. I was not disappointed!
From their beautiful first look under a stand of weeping willows to the look on Ebony’s face when they walked down the aisle the morning was so full of joy! My face hurt from smiling so much! Vows were exchanged, tears were shed and laughter was shared.
After the ceremony we headed to Queen Elizabeth Park to capture some intimate portraits surrounded by the beauty of the gardens before they headed off to lunch at Seasons in the Park with their family. The whole morning from start to finish was relaxed, effortless and a celebration of their love.
Ebony and Tor had actually planned a Vancouver micro wedding from the start (well before Covid-19 made it’s appearance) and thankfully we were able to proceed with almost no changes to the original plans. With the pandemic causing uncertainty for those planning weddings pivoting towards a micro wedding or elopement is a wonderful route to go. There’s a few options for how to do it and I’d be happy to go over them with any interested parties – drop me an email to find out more!
It was such a pleasure capturing your memories Ebony and Tor! Thank you again for having me there to share them with you!
