There’s no question, I’m always excited for a Whytecliff Park engagement session! It ticks all the boxes in my west coast heart’s checklist. How can you go wrong with forest, rock formations, beaches and a wee magical island to work with? I fall deeper in love with Whytecliff every time I get a chance to explore it and I’m not sorry about it. haha
Maya and Thomas took that incredible backdrop and made it their own by bringing the laughter and connection in spades. Not to mention their colour combo – I’m always a sucker for a good mustard yellow! I had so much fun getting to know these two and witness their beautiful connection with each other.
The highlight of our session for me was when we talked about how they met. They’d had a couple of failed connections when fate finally stepped in and cancelled a trip Thomas was supposed to make for work. Long story short, they finally made it to their first date and are now looking forward to celebrating their love with a micro wedding this August at the Pinnacle at the Pier in North Vancouver. I can’t wait to be there with them to capture it all – I already know it’s going to be an incredible day!
