Getting Ready with Meaningful Details
Beth spent the morning getting ready at her sister’s home, surrounded by her closest loved ones. The excitement and emotion were palpable, especially from her mom, who teared up multiple times throughout the day – during the morning preparations, the ceremony, and even the speeches. Meanwhile, Tim got ready at their home, incorporating fun and sentimental details into his outfit. His R2-D2 socks added a playful nod to his love for Star Wars. He even had a special bow tie made for their beloved cat, a sweet personal touch that reflected their life together.
An Emotional First Look in the Solarium
Beth and Tim’s first look took place in the solarium at Cecil Green Park House, a bright and elegant space that provided the perfect setting for such an intimate moment. As soon as they saw each other, emotions took over and both teared up while taking in the moment. It was so moving that even my second shooter and I felt the depth of their love and connection.
Enchanting Portraits in Pacific Spirit Forest
For their portraits, we ventured to my special secret location in Pacific Spirit Forest. The west coast forests forever have my heart and this magical setting with towering trees and soft, natural light fits the bill in every way. The forecast had been calling for rain all day but miraculously the skies held off, allowing us to capture their love in the lush, peaceful surroundings. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect, and the trees only added to the romance of their portraits.
A Ceremony and Celebration to Remember
With the rain staying away, Beth and Tim were able to have their dream outdoor ceremony in the gardens at Cecil Green Park House. The emotional vows, the supportive energy of family and friends, and the stunning backdrop made for a truly unforgettable moment.
The celebration continued with an incredible reception catered by Sage Bistro, where every dish was as delicious as it was beautifully presented. I’m never disapppointed by their food! The speeches were a mix of laughter and tears, each one filled with love for the couple. One of the most memorable highlights of the night was the live music performance by Tim’s brother and his partner. Their talent and energy had the dance floor packed, with guests singing along and celebrating the night away.
